As we approach the 2,010th anniversary of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it is important that we reflect on a few issues that are critical to the spiritual health and welfare of man. It is important to place into perspective what has been the enabling grace for our forward movement and where that movement has stagnated and now threatens to die. As a nation we have a history of being the greatest benefactor to the world and the one nation that can be counted on to take up the cause of the oppressed. There is a reason for that and it is quite obvious. I wish to dwell on that a moment or two.

America was founded by men who sought refuge in order to celebrate their faith without being oppressed by the government. They sought to worship as their conscience directed, and in the span of 100 years brought about the beginnings of this great country. The laws that they drafted based on the Judeo-Christian teachings, and reflected in the Biblical laws of the Ten Commandments. The oaths and promises that facilitated the service of the people to the country were steeped in a promise to almighty God that the service would be honest and true and bear true faith and allegiance to that oath.

It is critical to say at this juncture that the statement that the Constitution lays out a clear separation between church and state is a pernicious lie bought into by those whose wisdom fails to reach beyond their eyes. The Constitution says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; “There is not one single word that says that official offices of government or the property thereto appertaining cannot be where a cross or a star of David is placed, nor a sculpture of the Ten Commandments. The separation of church and state comes from nothing less than those who fear the faith of God in others for it strengthens them and makes it difficult to inflict evil and corruption upon them.

As a nation since the founding and up until the last few decades the United States has lived in a state of grace empowered by the prayers and best hopes of her citizens and many who have benefited from her good works. In the course of that cycle of growth the United States became the preeminent charitable country and gave generously to the world of its wealth, its blood, and its treasure. No country in the world can say that on some level their existence is directly linked to that generosity and largess. The people of the US have not asked for anything in return and in spite having conquered a considerable portion of the world have never asked for reward but rather have rebuilt their enemies to where they were stronger and sounder than before the conflict ensued.

Now we find ourselves beset by those who decry any semblance of faith or religion in the public sector. They decry the Christian display, tear down the crosses, and sue in court to stop people from gathering in their own homes for prayer or religious meetings. A few people of questionable disposition and no faith in them at all have taken the country hostage. They challenge good works, stop religious groups from helping the poor, take away funding for charity because it offends them that any government money should find its way to charitable causes. Woe is us as a people for we have allowed ourselves to be separated from God by people who have no faith while we all the while claim faith.

And what is the reward of all this? We are failing as a country. The President and his Tzars proclaim from their positions of power that God is dead and that socialism is the answer. One man invokes the name of God while all the while trying to get the people to openly revolt. Without God we are lost and our country is in decline from which it may never recover. Our children suffer more for lack as we lose our ability to make better opportunity available for them. Our debt is crushing and the politicians are simply too corrupt on both sides to really do anything about it.

We need a prayer for salvation rising from the masses, calling on God to help us and give us the strength to redeem our faith, our selves, and our country. Without God America ceases to be and only bad things can follow her fall. So as you open your gifts on Christmas day remember that the greatest gift was given 2010 years ago, and that he came into this world so that “He who believeth in Him, though they were dead, yet would they have eternal life.”

Nathan Jones, founder of the Winston-Salem Tea Party announced his candidacy for the NC Senate seat currently help by Linda Garrou. Nathan has been active politically for the last several years and was struck by what he saw as a need for the people to be represented fairly, honestly, and with a vision toward developing a better future. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University for both his Bachelors degree and his MBA. As the President and small Business owner of a local company, Nathan has direct experience at not just managing finances, but he has direct experience in guiding a business in tough times with a view toward overcoming problems proactively.

Ms. Garrou has held the current seat in District 32 for the last 12 years and is seen as one of the major architects of the fiscal problems that plague North Carolina. Over the last ten years increases in spending have been four times greater than increases in population. This shows the clear willingness to spend without regard for fiscal responsibility. As a result taxes on every front across the state have been increased. In the current session North Carolina was able to close much of their budget deficits only because of billions of dollars that were provided by the Federal government as part of their ill conceived stimulus package. Those funds however, will not be forthcoming next year and North Carolinians will be put in a difficult position as the State Legislature is forced to cut benefits and services to close a multi billion dollar budget gap. Once a resort state that provided a haven for businesses and tourists alike, North Carolina now has one of the highest sales taxes, unfriendly business taxes, and is losing people to neighboring states which have a much more friendly environment.

Nathan enters the race committed to bringing down the rate of unemployment in North Carolina and avoiding any repetition of the mistakes that have led to the current state of affairs. He wants to make sure that the state fosters an environment which attracts investment and promote job growth. Nathan has been clear that his goals if elected are to work diligently to reduce wasteful government spending. He is committed to reducing taxes so that business and industry will once again see North Carolina as a good place to locate their businesses. It is also important that government be limited to its constitutional size and responsibilities to ensure long term economic growth. As a member of the state Senate Nathan Jones will make the people of North Carolina and the proper conduct of their business and representation the business of his Senatorial Office.

By Dr. Paul L. Williams Saturday, June 27, 2009

It’s invasive.
It’s corrupt.
It’s rigged.
It’s unconstitutional.

Its purpose is the legislative transformation of the United States of America into a land where conservatives, Christians, and Caucasians will become political castrados.

It is biased and prejudicial.

It serves to channel billions of dollars into bogus political action groups, such as Acorn.

It promotes gay rights and same-sex marriages.

It is a document that was not something drafted by the Berkley chapter of the Barbra Streisand Fan Club or the Alec Baldwin wing of the American Civil Liberties Union.

It is President Barack Obama’s 2010 Census Form.

The form asks if you have a house with running water, if you have a flush toilet, if you go to work by ferryboat or trolleycar, if you are mentally challenged, if you are of Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish origin, and if you are a white, black, negro, African American, American Indian, Asian Indian, Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Native Hawaiian, Guamanian or Chamorro, Samoan, Fijian, or Tongan

It asks if you have hot and cold running water, a sink with a faucet, a frigerator, a bathtub or shower, a stove or range, and a flush toilet.

It asks if you use coal, gas, oil, electricity, or solar energy to heat your home or apartment, if you are deaf or blind, if you are mentally challenged, if you have a physical disability, if you are employed, self-employed, or retired, if you have troubled dressing or bathing, if you have difficulty walking or climbing the stairs, and if you speak a language other than English at home.

It asks your income, your educational level, and the time you leave your home in the morning.

But infinitely more telling is what the new census form doesn’t ask.

It doesn’t ask if you are a citizen of the U.S.A., if you are an immigrant, or if you are a Muslim.

Naturally, the questions are in English and Spanish, lest anyone think that America is an Anglo nation. Many stand in violation of the Constitution which states that a national census should concern itself solely the number of individuals in a household.

For this reason, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann is refusing to answer the “very intricate” and “very personal” questions.

But there are problems with the Obama census beyond the intrusive nature of the comprehensive survey.

To assist in the hiring of census takers, the Obama Administration has opted to partner with the following special interest groups (not one of which represents the despised race of whites who settled this country):

* ACORN
* 100 Black Men of America
* African American Women’s House of Imagene (sic) Shelter
* American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee
* Arab American Institute
* Asian American Federation
* Asian American Justice Center
* Asian and Pacific Islander Coalition on HIV/AIDS
* Association of Professors and Scholars of Iranian Heritage
* Boat People SOS
* Hispanic Alliance for Prosperity Institute
* Hispanic Federation
* Fundacion Azteca
* Latino Justice PDLDEF
* Mas New Mexico
* Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund
* Minority Access
* National Alliance for Hispanic Health
* National Alliance of Black School Educators
* National American Indian Housing Council
* NAACP National Voter Fund
* NAACP (National Association of Colored People)
* National Association for Black Social Workers
* National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs
* National association of Hispanic Federal Executives
* National Association of Hispanic Publications
* National Association of Latino Elected Officials
* National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs
* National Black Chamber of Commerce
* National Black Child Development Institute
* National Black Justice Coalition
* National Black Leadership Forum
* National Coalition on Black Civic Participation
* National Congress of Black Women
* National Federation of Filipino American Associations
* National Hispanic Leadership Institute
* National Hispanic Business Information Clearinghouse
* National Latino Research Center
* National Minority AIDS Council
* National Puerto Rican Coalition
* National Puerto Rican Day Parade
* Rainbow Push Coalition
* U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
* Voto Latino

Get the picture? Notice a racial bias?

These agencies will be paid millions in taxpayers’ dollars to assist the President in conducting the census and to make sure that all minorities are included in the official count.

Not one of the groups represents the despised race of white Europeans who settled this country and gave their sweat and blood to make it the most prosperous nation on earth.

Excluded from the list of census partners are such groups, as the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Elks Clubs, the Rotary Clubs, the Moose Lodge, and, of course, the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick.

This racial bias inherent in the census has raised the concern that the results will be rigged – - a concern that has been intensified by Mr. Obama’s selection of Robert M. Groves, a sociology professor at the University of Michigan,

Republican legislators have expressed alarm because Mr. Groves’s specialty is statistical sampling — roughly speaking, the process of extrapolating from the numbers of people actually counted to arrive at estimates of those uncounted and, presumably, arriving at a realistic total.

If minorities, immigrants, the poor and the homeless are those most likely to be missed in an actual head count, as Mr. Grove presumably believes, and if political stereotypes hold true, then the statistical sampling of the 2010 census will produce a windfall for the Democrat Party.

This result is certain since the census results as gathered by the above groups coupled with Mr. Grove’s calculation of the missed head count will determine which states gains seats in Congress and which ones lose them, as well as the allocation of federal dollars to states and cities based on population.

The Obama budget serves to ensure that the United States will be broke.

His foreign policies will serve the cause of the Muslim world to the detriment of Israel.

And his census will make sure that the time of the Judeo-Christian standards and culture in the land of the free and the home of the brave will come to an end.

The chickens have come home to roost.

More tomorrow

WASHINGTON — After a fairly smooth opening, President Barack Obama faces new concerns among the American public about the budget deficit and government intervention in the economy as he works to enact ambitious health and energy legislation, a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll finds.

These rising doubts threaten to overshadow the president’s personal popularity and his agenda, in what may be a new phase of the Obama presidency.

“The public is really moving from evaluating him as a charismatic and charming leader to his specific handling of the challenges facing the country,” says Peter D. Hart, a Democratic pollster who conducts the survey with Republican Bill McInturff. Going forward, he says, Mr. Obama and his allies “are going to have to navigate in pretty choppy waters.”

There’s good news for the administration, too, including tentative support for Mr. Obama’s health-care plan and approval of his nominee for the Supreme Court. The public seems more optimistic about the country’s economic future than it did a few weeks earlier, and Americans are still more likely to blame the last administration for the deficit.

But the poll suggests Mr. Obama faces challenges on multiple fronts, including growing concerns about government spending and the bailout of auto companies. A majority of people also disapprove of his decision to close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Nearly seven in 10 survey respondents said they had concerns about federal interventions into the economy, including Mr. Obama’s decision to take an ownership stake in General Motors Corp., limits on executive compensation and the prospect of more government involvement in health care. The negative feeling toward the GM rescue was reflected elsewhere in the survey as well.

A solid majority — 58% — said that the president and Congress should focus on keeping the budget deficit down, even if takes longer for the economy to recover.

Laura Zamora, 40, of Orange, Calif., voted for Mr. Obama but says she is frustrated by the economy and finds her support for the president waning. She says she’s facing a possible layoff as a local government worker in California.

“He’s bailing out the private sector. He’s putting all kinds of money into the private sector,” says Mrs. Zamora. “The money should be going to social programs, not to bailing out banks and GM. It should go to people who are unemployed.”

The survey of 1,008 adults, conducted Friday to Monday, had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points for the full sample.

The results come after weeks of Republican hammering of Mr. Obama for spending too much and taking on too many issues, arguments that appear to be resonating with some voters.

Mr. Obama’s overall job approval and personal ratings have slipped, particularly among independent voters. His job approval rating now stands at 56%, down from 61% in April. Among independents, it dropped from nearly two-to-one approval to closely divided.

In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, President Obama acknowledged the toll.

“If you have an argument made frequently enough — whether it’s true or not — it has some impact,” he said Tuesday. “If you want to attack a Democratic president, how are you going to attack him? Well, you’re going to talk about how he wants more government and he wants to socialize medicine and he’s going to be oppressive towards business. I mean, that’s pretty standard fare.”

Mr. Obama ran down some of problems he said he had been forced to deal with, and said the real argument is about whether to take on health care and energy.

“I suppose we could just stand pat and not do anything on either of those fronts…That’s been tried for four or five decades. And in both energy and health care, the problems have gotten worse, not better,” he said.

By some measures, the public seems to agree. Only 37% of people said that Mr. Obama is taking on too many issues. A solid majority — 60% — said that he is focused on many issues because the country is facing so many problems.

The president and his advisers appear to be aware of the peril they face over the deficit. That helps explain why Mr. Obama has emphasized his effort to cut health-care costs over his effort to expand health-insurance coverage, and why he has promised that the cost of any health-care package will be covered by spending cuts or tax increases.

When asked what the most important economic issue facing the country is, 24% cited the deficit, vs. just 11% who named health care.

Mr. Obama has some breathing room. Nearly three in four respondents said that the president inherited the current economic conditions, versus just 14% who said he is responsible for them. Only 6% said the Obama administration is most responsible for the budget deficit. Nearly half blame the Bush administration.

On the economy, the poll had some bright spots, with a rising expectation of recovery. The portion of people who think the economy will improve over the next 12 months rose to 46% from 38% in April. And 20% predicted the recession would end in six months to a year, nearly double the comparable figure from April.

Still, overall, the public finds the economy in dreadful shape today, and people living in the Midwest were much less likely to express optimism about the future than those on the coasts.

On health care, the public remains open to persuasion. Without being told anything specific about the Obama plan in the survey, about a third of people said it’s a good idea, about a third said it’s a bad idea and the rest had no opinion. When given several details of his approach, 55% said they favored it, versus 35% who were opposed.

There was also support for the Democratic push to let people sign up for a public health-care plan that would compete with private companies, one of the toughest issues in the health-care debate. Three in four people said a public plan is extremely or quite important. But when told the arguments for and against the plan, a smaller portion, 47%, agreed with arguments in support of the plan, with 42% agreeing with the arguments against it.

At the same time, nearly half the participants said it was very or somewhat likely that their employer would drop private coverage if a public plan were available.

As for how to pay for the package, estimated at more than $1 trillion over 10 years, the public favors proposals to require all Americans to get insurance, to raise taxes on the rich and, to a lesser extent, to require all but the smallest businesses to offer insurance or pay into a fund.

But majorities oppose plans to tax health benefits, even if the taxes only apply to particularly generous plans. The public is divided about cuts to Medicare.

Regarding Mr. Obama’s pick to the Supreme Court, Judge Sonia Sotomayor, half the public said she’s qualified for the post, versus just 13% who said she’s not qualified. That’s equivalent to numbers in November 2005 for Samuel Alito, Mr. Bush’s nominee who was subsequently confirmed to the court.

One in three people said her decisions and views seem out of the mainstream, vs. 28% who say they are in the mainstream. The rest had no opinion. But overall support for her confirmation is strong.

There was some good news for General Motors, despite the widespread antipathy to using taxpayer money to aid the company. More than half the participants said they are considering or have recently considered buying an American car. Of those people, 40% said the recent problems of the U.S. auto industry make them more likely to buy American. Just 14% said it made them less likely.

I won’t say how many calls we have had over this issue but to put this into perspective I have talked with certain Tech Shops which have commented that Personal Antivirus, Antivirus 360 or Antivirus 2009 have “made their quarter”. Anyway if your not familiar with this problem PersonalAntivirus is a fake antivirus. As with all such adware, PersoanlAntivirus is designed to convince users that the system is infected with malware. To do so, it performs a false scan of the affected system, during which it detects several malware samples:

If users click "Remove", a form will be displayed asking users to pay for the license, and a false warning message will appear indicating the computer is at risk. Further even if you get rid of the advertisement you will find it returning minutes later:

FOR a guy who talks so much about wanting a new era of re sponsibility, President Obama spends an awful lot of time blaming Republicans for all the wild and reckless spending he crammed into his own budget.

After running a campaign against the $1 trillion deficit he “inherited” from President Bush and the Republicans, Obama quickly matched it. During his first 50 days in office, he and his Democratic-controlled Congress spent $1 billion an hour.

Under Obama’s proposed budget, the overall national debt doubles in five years and triples in 10.

Not exactly “moving from an era of borrow and spend to one where we save and invest,” as he promised.

How does Mr. Responsibility explain the disconnect between this reality and his absurd claims? By insisting that Republicans were worse.

“To a bunch of the critics out there, I’ve already said, show me your budget!” he told a gathering of wealthy Democratic donors this week. “I’m happy to have that debate.”

Or, another time: “I suspect that some of those Republican critics have a short memory, because as I recall I’m inheriting a $1.3 trillion deficit, annual deficit, from them.”

In other words, Obama cannot defend his decision to double down on deficit spending. So, he simply trashes Republicans.

As if voters right now are looking for somebody just not as bad as the GOP. As if his campaign slogan wasn’t “Change You Can Believe In,” but rather “Vote for Me. I’m Not as Bad as Republicans.”

Anyway, Republicans tried this out-of-control spending derby — and just look where that got them. In a few short years, they lost control of every single lever of power exactly because of this kind of behavior.

Yet in even less time, Obama has put away his promises of Hope and Change and tossed aside the idealism of his campaign about remaking politics in Washington.

Surveying the political landscape here today, Obama is thinking of that adage cherished by cutthroats everywhere.

If you and a buddy are walking through the woods and encounter a hungry, angry bear, you don’t have to outrun the bear. You simply have to outrun your buddy.

WASHINGTON – The top Republican on the Senate Budget Committee says the Obama administration is on the right course to save the nation’s financial system.

But Sen. Judd Gregg of New Hampshire also says President Barack Obama’s massive budget proposal will bankrupt the country.

Gregg says he has no regrets in withdrawing his nomination to become commerce secretary. He pulled out after deciding he could not fully back the administration’s economic policies.

The senator said Obama’s spending plan in the midst of a prolonged recession would leave the next generation with a country too expensive to live in.

Gregg appeared Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

House bill to keep govt. running totals $410 billion, features thousands of pet projects

* David Espo, AP Special Correspondent
* Tuesday February 24, 2009, 8:50 am EST

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Democrats unveiled a $410 billion spending bill on Monday to keep the government running through the end of the fiscal year, setting up the second political struggle over federal funds in less than a month with Republicans.

The measure includes thousands of earmarks, the pet projects favored by lawmakers but often criticized by the public in opinion polls. There was no official total of the bill’s earmarks, which accounted for at least $3.8 billion.

The legislation, which includes an increase of roughly 8 percent over spending in the last fiscal year, is expected to clear the House later in the week.

Democrats defended the spending increases, saying they were needed to make up for cuts enacted in recent years or proposed a year ago by then-President George W. Bush in health, education, energy and other programs.

Republicans countered that the spending in the bill far outpaced inflation, and amounted to much higher increases when combined with spending in the stimulus legislation that President Barack Obama signed last week. In a letter to top Democratic leaders, the GOP leadership called for a spending freeze, a step they said would point toward a “new standard of fiscal discipline.”

Either way, the bill advanced less than one week after Obama signed the $787 billion economic stimulus bill that all Republicans in Congress opposed except for three moderate GOP senators.

Apart from spending, the legislation provides Democrats in Congress and Obama an opportunity to reverse Bush-era policy on selected issues.

It loosens restrictions on travel to Cuba, as well as the sale of food and medicine to the communist island-nation.

In another change, the legislation bans Mexican-licensed trucks from operating outside commercial zones along the border with the United States. The Teamsters Union, which supported Obama’s election last year, hailed the move.

The Bush administration backed a pilot program to permit up to 500 trucks from 100 Mexican motor carriers access to U.S. roads.

The legislation covers programs for numerous Cabinet-level and other agencies, and takes the place of regular annual spending bills that did not pass last year as a result of a deadlock between the Bush administration and the Democratic-controlled Congress.

Congressional expenses are included. The bill provides $500,000 for what is described as a Senate “pilot program” that will defray the cost of mass mail postcards to households notifying them of a nearby town meeting to be attended by any senator.
