It appears the people, that’s the Pro-Active Citizens of Clemmons, got their voices heard and pretty much cleaned house down at the Village Hall. The Three endorsed Council Members as well as the endorsed Mayor all won in Tuesday’s election.
The Pro-Active Citizens of Clemmons, PACC, started some months ago passing out flyers and making door to door stops telling people why they felt Clemmons needed a change. The primary cause of the group is to preserve Clemmons as a “Village” by using strict zoning and adhering to the Clemmons Area Development Guide. By preserving a balance between development and open spaces by keeping control on the paving of open spaces.
So as is always the case change starts locally and it’s apparent the citizens of Clemmons want change, at least in who is in control of the Village’s direction.
