In an effort to reduce cost Krispy Kreme will outsource it’s coffee roasting business to S&D Coffee of Concord, North Carolina.

Krispy Kreme stock has fallen from $50 to $4 over the past four years after the SEC filed a formal inquiry into some of Krispy Kreme’s accounting practices which was followed by the US Attorney in New York looking into possible criminal activities.
